La Pupa Magazine - A Place to Buy OOAK Clothing

Immarre bought a gorgeous set from La Pupa Magazine for Pluie, the newest addition to our little family. The set in question is called 'Moulin Rouge' and it was originally made to fit a Volks SD10/SD13 girl but fits perfectly a CP Delf Type 3 boy. The set includes a Corset, Pants, Stockings, Tren (Clip-on clips for panties), Neck ornament and Hair ornament. The designer of this lovely set is Style4doll.

My Spoiled Little Brother

Our Coye has been visiting friends for the last couple of months and returned home yesterday. We had missed him so much, as had Immarre. She bought a new set of clothes for Coye from LDoll. Here's Coye in his new Another Space outfit. Doesn't he look lovely?

LDoll 3

Here is a photo of Jardin des rêves, the shop of Immarre & Sweetneat at LDoll 3.

My brother Lynn dressed in a frilly corset and coral coloured lace skirt. I bet that many people actually thought that he's a girl. Lysimakhos, our resident evil angel, is dressed in a frilly white linen jacket and knee lenght trousers along with a corset made of sky blue silk dupioni.

Lynn also posed in a rococo inspired outfit which included a white cotton shirt decorated with lace, a brown silk dupioni corset and knee lenght trousers and a vest which are both made of tobacco brown silk dupioni.
Immarre took photos from some of the other booths such as these lovely dolls dressed in oriental clothing.
This doll had an interesting steed - a sparrow!
And finally, Lysimakhos dressed in a beige rococo inspired outfit made for SD girls. He is wearing a gorgeus mohair wig made by Sweetneat. This outfit is listed for sale at Immarre's Etsy shop:

Hats for LDoll 2012

Besides sewing clothing, Immarre has made hats for LDoll. My poor brother, Lynn, and two of his friends Violet and Flann were forced to model hats ... that's not too bad, but they had to dress as girls since the hats were made for women. I have to admit, all three can really get away being girls.

Lynn (on the left) is wearing a hat made of linen and decorated with a narrow red and white ribbon and bow. Violet (in the middle) is wearing a grey silk had decorated with a tan and black wide ribbon and bow. Flann's white hat is also made of line and is decorated with lace and a pink and brown ribbon and a bow.

You can imagine that since Immarre is really busy with sewing, our living room looks quite interesting with all the ribbons, laces, cloths, hats and half ready clothes on the floor, not to mention the two doll friends who are basically naked...

Getting ready for LDoll 2012

Immarre has been busy, both sewing for LDoll and at work. Last year she noticed that its very difficult to sell clothes, if they only fit one specific doll such as a Minifée.

So she had some new ideas how to develop the clothes so that they would fit several different dolls. Here we have an example of a grungy rococo styled outfit made of beige linen. Mikiko, Xaya's Delf Juri, is modelling this lovely outfit. This lovely outfit has three separate pieces; a corset, a skirt and a ruffeled jacket. All are easy to adjust to SD girls of different sizes.

The hat is made of golden raw silk and is hand sewn. It is decorated with a silk sash and bow (you can't see the bow in the photo) as well as some lovely lace.

The other example is a SD boy sized outfit of white linen. A pair of trousers and a ruffeled jacket. The corset is made by Rauouken and it fits the ensemble in a superb way. Here is a link to Rauouken's Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/Raouken

Lavish Clothing for SD Ladies

CheeryDoll seems to have several lovely and lavish outfits for SD girls.

The 'European Dress 64-Arcane princess' is a gorgeous ensemble in white with gold decorations, including braids, sashes and lace. The outfit includes several separate pieces and can be worn with a princess like long skirt or with a short ballet type skirt. The following pieces, very rich in detail, are included; a corset with lace, braid and ribbon decorations, a long sleeved bodice, underpants and net stockings, both short and long skirts, a panier and accessories. All very decorative and detailed.

Another example of their gorgeous outfits is the 'European Dress 62-noble grey', which is made of black or very dark grey sheer material decorated with white and silver embroidery and lace. The 'Noble Grey' is actually three different outfits; a long princess like dress, a short ballet like dress and a corset with stockings set. The outfit includes the following separate pieces; a black corset, a long sleeved bodice, two skirts, a panier, and accessories.

Rococo Outfits

Immarre finally managed to take photos of the lovely brown silk rococo outfit she made for Minifée boys. She wasn't lazy, but due to computer problems she wasn't able to be online since the beginning of this year.

This brown rococo outfit includes a silk vest which is lined with a printed cotton mix lining and decorated with gold braid. The trousers are knee lenght and also decorated with gold braid. The shirt has been made of sheer cotton and it is decorated with cotton lace.

The red and white rococo outfit for a Minifée girl was originally made for the LDoll Festival, which was held in Lyon in October 2011.

The bodice and outer skirt have been made of red silk with lace and bow decorations. The underskirt is made of printed cotton. The outfit is partly hand sewn and it fits the B-line (most likely also the A-line big bust) Minifée girl.

Both outfits are for sale on Etsy.
